Who we are
Just Wylde Audio is an audiobook production service operated by Meeka Group. We are based in Australia and serve authors globally.

What data we collect and why

Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
- Contract: we process your name, email, manuscript, and voice recording to fulfil our production agreement with you.
- Legitimate interests: we process usage data to maintain platform security.
- Consent: we only send marketing emails if you have explicitly opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
How long we keep your data
- Your manuscript and voice recording are kept for the duration of your project and deleted within 30 days of final file delivery unless you request otherwise.
- Your voice model (the ElevenLabs clone) is deleted within 30 days of delivery.
- Your name and email are kept for up to 3 years for business records, then deleted.
- Payment records are kept for 7 years as required by Australian tax law.
Who we share your data with
We only share your data with the following trusted service providers, under strict data processing agreements:
- Supabase: Secure database and file storage (servers in the United States)
- ElevenLabs: AI voice cloning technology (servers in the United States)
- Stripe: Payment processing (servers in the United States and Europe)
- Vercel: Website and platform hosting (servers globally)
We never sell your data. We never share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
International transfers
Some of our service providers are based outside Australia and the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred internationally we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Your rights
Under GDPR and Australian Privacy Law you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction: Request we correct inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request we delete your data (the right to be forgotten)
- Restriction: Request we limit how we use your data
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
- Object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Withdraw consent: Unsubscribe from marketing at any time
